Energy Tips, The Energy within MILO ProtoMalt

Eat for Energy.

Eat more grains, fruits and vegetables – these foods give you carbohydrates for energy, plus vitamins, minerals and fibre.

Laugh often.

Laughter is a fantastic antidote to energy slump. It releases important hormones that make you feel good. Watch a funny movie or share some jokes.

Sweat it out.

A good workout helps your heart pump better, gets your adrenalin flowing and boosts your energy level. You'll surely feel better.

Get physical.

Run, jog or dance. Climb the stairs instead of taking the lift. Walk or ride a bike to meet your friends.

Nourish your body.

Balance your food choices.Feed your body the nutrients it needs – protein, carbohydrates, fat and different types of vitamins and minerals - in the right proportions.

Play more.

Work is important but so is play. Make time to chill out so you can recharge, mentally and physically.

Alternate hot and cold in the shower.

A great way to boost metabolism, heart rate and blood circulation. Also great for sore muscles!

Connect with others.

Being in good company can perk you up. Build relationships. Tap into the social energy around you.

Find new interests.

Take up new activities like rock climbing, futsal or whatever interests you. You’ll be surprised how your enthusiasm will spill over to your other chores.

Avoid energy sappers.

Being with people who are constantly complaining or negative can wear you out.

Balance your days.

Split your time well between work and rest. If you have too much of either, you will only end up feeling sluggish and lethargic.

Stay hydrated.

Dehydration is a common cause of fatigue. Drink enough fluids and water throughout the whole day.

Snack Smart.

Refuel with small snacks. Reach for the healthy munchies – a few nuts or raisins, an apple or some celery sticks. And don’t forget a cup of delicious MILO® drink!

Take deep breaths.

Draw in a deep breath and then fully exhale. Repeat a few times. Having more oxygen in your blood stream will energise you.

Get out and have fun!

Spending too much time at the computer? Get some fresh air. Go biking, jogging or simply brisk walk. You’ll feel more invigorated.

Limber up.

Get up and walk around if you have been reading, surfing the net or watching TV. Have a good s-t-r-e-t-c-h. Better still, go for a short run!

Eat a banana.

Banana is a great energy booster and it is rich in potassium.

Start right.

Start your day with a healthy breakfast. It fills your “empty tank” after a night’s sleep and charges you up!

Get a good night's rest.

While you sleep, your body goes through a rebuilding and rejuvenation process. Be sure to get sufficient sleep.

Sing or whistle.

Greet your day with a happy song and you’ll find yourself in a chirpy mood. Whistling a cheery tune works too.

Take a nap.

Sometimes, a quick afternoon nap is all you need to get recharged. Make it short, or you may feel groggy.

Work out.

Exercise regularly. Do push-ups or lift weights to strengthen your muscles. Join sports activities. Staying fit helps you stay energetic and alert.

Set goals.

You can always improve your life, even in very small ways. Having goals will motivate you and keep you feeling more energetic.

Get some sun.

Feeling lethargic in an air-conditioned room? Go out for a short sunny break. It’ll perk you up.

Brush away the zzz....

Feeling droopy by mid-day? Take five to brush your teeth. It’s the simplest way to recharge.

Be positive.

Worrying too much will bog you down. On the other hand, having a positive outlook will boost you up.

Sit up!

Slouching leads to pain, discomfort and muscle fatigue. Fix your energy levels through good posture.

Move about.

Mid afternoon slump? Get away from your desk. Take a quick walk around the office or go up and down the stairs. You’ll feel more energised.

Nokia 5800 Xpress Music

I'm in love with my Nokia 5800 Xpress Music.

This model have 3 colours: silver, blue and red. I plan to have silver at first, but got blue at last.

And it's just RM815. Resistive touch screen+Wifi+Ovi Nokia..

Navigation on your Nokia. And it's free. Forever. And of course unlimited music too with powerful 3.5G connections.

It now has 4/8 GB microSD card inside and even up to 16GB!

You will definitely feel great holding it. Touching the screen without the stylus and it is not delayed like LG phones, the speed is just incredible.

I can access the Internet anytime at home using WLAN. Facebook, e-mails, blogs, just too bad Instant Messenger for 5800 is not ready yet. But it's coming soon. Yay!

Most importantly, everything is free if you connected using your modem at home.

I have tried everything except the camera with 3.2 megapixel. Will try it out very soon when back to UTP V6 next week. The place has the most beautiful scenery of all especially along the jogging track. Sometimes you could see and capture something unexpected unexpectedly too ^^

That's all for it. More to come when times come.

A Really Unforgettable Trip to Singapore (Really, really..)

I have wrote so many about 'your unforgettable experience in your life' in primary and secondary schools. The teachers even have contoh karangan for us to memorize so we can have something to write in exam if the question asks so. Even they do not, students like us still can write based solely on imagination and psycho our mind to try react in that so-called 'unforgettable experience', e.g wake up late to school then miss bus, scold by teacher, after school rainy day, go back with the body all wet or visit a beach on a sunny day, father read newspaper, mother prepares food, sister, brother and I swim then suddenly see somebody drowning etc.. Some of the experiences I mentioned above may be true, they may be your most unforgettable experience in your entire life but if it is not, without yourself really experiencing them, they are meaningless, no matter how well your imaginations and word of expressions are.

It happened 5 days ago when I went Singapore with my family. We did not go on purposely, just wanting to send my younger brother back to his college. Monday would be his school reopen day. I have went to this place twice, this trip would be the third time. Before going into details, let's have Singapore at a glance.

We often relate Singapore to the name of this country. The correct name should be the Republic of Singapore. Singapore is only the capital of it. ^^ R.O Singapore is an island and islets in the heart of Southeast Asia, between Malaysia and Indonesia. As we know, Chinese is the majority 76.8%, followed by Malay 13.9%, Indian 7.9%, and other races 1.4%. Wa its area of 682.7 sq km is smaller than that of Penang 404 sq km! Oh ya, the currency on that day was $S1 to RM2.31 if I was not mistaken.

In Malaysia, I often hear people saying that Singapore Government is very strict with its laws, rules and regulations. No chewing gums, no littering, no hawking, whatever 'NO' in their laws, please do not try to work against it! Argh!! And on that day I finally 'tasted' and witnessed the power of their laws!!
So there were two things that made my trip unforgettable: 1st World Cup 2nd Singapore laws =.=

The first place we went is Sentosa Resorts World. Oh we went by bus. Paiseh to say la, it is only the few times I traveled with bus. In KL, because almost all places can be reached by KTM, Monorail and LRT, so the number of times left for buses is therefore 'countable'. XD

In Singapore, bus stations are more cleaner, manageable and comfortable. See, all are being scheduled properly. All you need is to line up in the row for each respective destination.

But the name of a place in Singapore is quite funny ^^

Hamisu Ang Mo Kio pulak? 'Ang Mo Kio' in Hokkien refers to brinjal le =)
Probably most Chinese in Singapore speaks Hokkien.

I felt weird not seeing even a half hawker to sell drinks in bus station to thirsty people like me. Hmm...

Oh, Because of this!! OMG

Wow, double Decker to our destination.

Fuiyoh, female driver neh =P

The taxi driver still need work meh got car like this liao? =.=!

Malaysia de bus got this bo?

The only temple I saw. Too bad the bus moved too fast.

Signboard. Blur @.@

So many polytechnic geh?

After changing so many buses, finally we arrived!!

The first thing I saw is Casino!!

So many people wanted to go in leh!!

I was so eager to go in but I am still under-aged T.T

My parents & grandparents went in, leaving 4 of us outside. Immediately I felt excited,

Because of this! World Cup fever~ I was imagining hundreds to thousands of people shouting here that night in watching Uruguay vs South Korea & USA vs Ghana!

Wohoo~~ Big Screen+ Beers + Comfortable seats and sure many leng lui to kap de neh =P

Usually people like me who love football always hope to get my friends who also have fanatical interest in football to watch football matches together, drinking, shouting and jumping here and there for each supported team. And especially watching it with big crowd!!

The night will be a good chance! But too bad when Germany vs England kick off, I think I will still in my journey back to KL T.T Miss this golden chance to watch this fantastic match with many many hot hot de Ang Mor lo.. Haiz..

The 32 teams flag. Felt happy to see these flags being arranged like this =D

Portugal, Christiano Ronaldo!

Paraguay, Santa Cruz?!

I think this is Mexico. Because I saw cactus there XD

Argentina or Greece? One is in quarter final, another one is out from group stage.

Brasil , one of the favorites.

Every team needs the Giant!! Go Go Torres! Please do not leave South Afrika without a goal!

What's inside?

They are showing Saturday's night match: Uruguay vs South Korea.

Koreans players are very patriotic, see!

They played very well, dominated but..

Final Result: 2-1.

Too bad Japan and South Korea could not end Asia's South American jinx.

Japan is knocked out after penalty shoot-out by Paraguay, 3-5.

The employee there said they watched the match on live and wrote the results down immediately after the referee blown the final whistle.

Wa, then mai everyday is sleepless and restless for football fans in this resorts?

Inside view- Many televisions.

Beautiful but expensive.

This was interesting- Live betting! The last 16.

Trying to figure out how to bet..

WOW $.$

So many ways of placing your bets!! You can even predict how many goals scored.

Can bet half time and full time score too! So creative to earn people's money lo..

Hope to visit here again!

The return journey will forever live in my memoris. Because in Singapore, you must always behave like Singaporean. Be obedient XD

Woodlands Checkpoint, a very beautiful building it is. And because of it, I suddenly turned from an university student to terrorists?!

Don't forget, no camera allowed inside and OUTSIDE! OMG, it was just outside and I did not notice it.

And I took a photograph of the outside view before entering the checkpoint. A police guard or whatever stopped me and seized my camera. He pointed to the warning signboard and with utter rude de voice and tone asking for my passport. Of course I gave him. My mother saw this and was trying to explain to him. I forgot what the fuck he told us, I just felt like giving him a punch because his attitude is just MCB rude and 'not reasonable'.

Let me try illustrate his fuckface, I think one word is enough: Yong Sui, really yong sui 凸

Yes, I admitted I was wrong to take the photo of the building without noticing the warning, but after that I followed all his instructions, gave him my camera and passport, waiting for 'further punishment, maybe "Or Kong" or whatever, yet he was yelling like a caveman to my mother and I by telling nonsense. He was actually like ugut-ing us. Just like "If we don't, then we will what.." Walau eh. Come on lo, see what you can do.

Soon, he reported my case to his other colleagues using walkie-talkie. His voice was terrible so I did not pay much attention to their conversations. Immediately, another two police forces approached. These two looked better than the sohai. And nicer too.

I was brought to 'Singapore Police Force' in the checkpoint. They looked really kan cheung, checking my passport thoroughly, calling here and there, and start accusing me as a terrorist!! I supposed Singapore forces and soldiers were coming too. Then, I think they were bringing me to their head. I was correct, he was a Chinese. He spoke Mandarin.

They all looked rather unkind at first, but after finished 'identifying my identity', they suddenly became 'kind'. The Chinese advised me not to take photo again next time in checkpoint. They are so sensitive but responsible, I actually felt great of their works because they carried their responsibilities to protect their country perfectly, in case there were other terrorists leh lol, but not the sohai, not the sohai at the entrance.

When I reclaimed my passport and camera until I left the checkpoint, I was being watched.

All these police forces were superb, what they done were just like what we watched in Bourne Ultimatum, haha =)

Only if I am a real terrorist.

If I am, I will first use M-16 to shoot the sohai at the entrance until there are countless holes in his body.

or

I will kidnap and tied bombs around his body. Then let him ask for help for couples of minutes and explode him.

Wohoo~~

I will forever wish that he is a Pak Guard at the entrance, no chance of getting any promotion to higher position, so that next time I visit Singapore, I can lansi him by walking in front of him without CAMERA!!!

Thomas Cup & Family Reunion

Thomas Cup 2010 final had came to an end. No surprise, China lifted its 8th title in Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

I watched the final in V2B with my friends. The next day was my final exam first paper -Principles of Finance. But the glamorous event is simply irresistible. Haha XD So I said to myself "Aiya relax a bit la, read so many already" Behold lazy people like me with lame excuse all the time LOL

Just wondering whether Lin Dan will dance again or not after defeating Taufik Hidayat, just like what he did after thrashing Dato Lee Chong Wei in semi-final. At the end he did not so i got disappointed. Zz..

I supported Lin Dan all the way to final, including semi-final against my beloved country Malaysia. Not to say I am not patriotic, but China was superb and perfect, they deserve winning it.

Certainly everytime I see Dato Lee Chong Wei acting with Lin Dan standing opposite him, Lee Chong Wei cannot play well. I don't know why. Maybe Lin Dan is more handsome than him ?! WTF

What said you? XD

Another reason why I support China is because of Hing Chai Shing. Do you even know his brother was acting in the Men's doubles final?

OMG 85% similar!

Hahaha.
