Animals are my friends

I treat animals as my friends. There was time when I was a vegetarian at the age of 10, my parents scolded me saying that if I don't eat meat, I would not grow up properly like others.

Whenever I fall sick, they would say I was weak because I don't eat meat.

I understand that they said that for my own good, they want me to grow stronger and healthier. So I eat not to make them worried.

Now that I have grown to the age of 24, I think I want to become a vegetarian.

I may not be a total vegetarian for now, but I can say I am doing really good in consuming less meats.

Mankind now take animals for their meats, for entertainment like the dolphins or elephants you see in circus or dog fighting, for cosmetic even, testing on them first before using on mankind themselves.

For me, I made efforts not to eat any meat at all, I cook myself more veges, fruits, beans etc unless I need to get socially engaged with others outside my house like for example barbeque, steamboat. Even that I just take a bit of the meat in front of my friends and will continue my vegetarian meals by ordering non meat meals.

I have never been to circus, never watch pit bulls/ dog fighting and I buy beauty products only if the product label said : NO testing on animals. I have never been fishing until recently, I make sure I do less of that as well.

More and more people all over the world are going vegetarian.

Join us now. I believe we don't need to kill animals for living healthily.

Whatever activities that we do that will harm any animals, stop them right away. They have feelings like us too.

A Day at IKEA

It was a Saturday at IKEA, a place more well-known of its meatball than others.

Was helping a friend who was looking for bed frame, at the same time, helping myself in surveying bedroom furniture. Can't wait to decorate my own room at my second home after the renovation which has been expected to finish before Chinese New Year next year.

 Take a look.

It is my favourite design of all times!

Workstation just under the bed, woah

The first thing to do in the morning, if I have this, is to jump off the bed, directly bump into the workstation, check handphone, open up laptop, and not worrying I will have anymore difficult times to search for my wallet, PETRONAS ID, watch, hand band etc in the morning because I will keep them all-in-this-one-place.

Secondly, I no longer need to afraid food or whatever else will spill on my bed, now I can watch all my favorite movies, Hong Kong series/ dramas and all p**n/ 18SX videos under my bed. But before that, I must also buy myself a pretty comfortable lazy chair like the below. It is easier to get the tissue too, if you understand what I mean.

Woah, life would be great doing so, but too bad IKEA was too packed and thus I decided to forget about the lazy chair after looking at the queue.

However,  just 1 thing I am afraid of this design: that the little staircase cannot support my current weight T.T

I am already weighed 72 kg compared to last month's 70 kg. Just in case I continue to put on weight at this rate.. I will become a fatty sitting on the lazy chair everyday and finally died of obesity (just too creative imagination).

I will be back to IKEA next time, hunger for more, not the meatballs sorry. But the ideas.

[Namewee Tokok] 039 Merdeka Q&A 國慶問答 30-08-2014

I am really shocked that some of the Malaysians don't even know the independence date of the country.

Seriously I hope it is just a minority of them.

One more thing, Lim Lian Geok is one respectful Chinese who fought for the Chinese education in Malaya back then and I am really upset that the interviewees in the video do not seem to know him.

“The history of the Chinese in struggling for a legitimate place in the country (then Malaya) and the history of Chinese education movement cannot be divorced from the work of this man, Lim Lian Geok.”-The Star,23 Dec.1985
