Cook, cook and cook

Ever since I moved to my current house in Kerteh, my cooking life can never be better.

Given the kitchen, refrigerator and all cooking utensils I have, I cook whatever I like whenever I want.

Every day after work without fail, I will make myself avaible at least for a simple cooking. If not sardin, chips, rice and fried cabbage, then scrambled egg and spaghetti and many more other combinations. Sometimes I will have the same menu for consecutive days, it makes me excited to think and change menu regularly and repeatedly cook the same food I cooked several weeks ago on, lets say this week again. It is the anticipation that excites me so much to give all myself in.

A simple one - Sardin, egg and rice
This is even better and easy
When I have no time, then this is it

Toast, sardin, sausage, tomato, onion, garlic, yogurt, soya etc, these food may seem simple but they are nutritious and I am happy to eat healthily every day.

Perhaps I can improve my cooking skills to cook like the professional chef, to make the below, though somebody already pat on my back saying that my food are great to eat :P

Then, hopefully one day I no longer need to go purposely to any Chinese or Japanese restaurant anymore to get my cravings (especially at odd hours) except for family dinner/ celebration/ vacation.

This is professional level
This is my favourite food of all time

Back on Pitch

Good to be back on the pitch, especially after so long.

It was an inter-department friendly match, with the 1st match played on the week I have had training in PLC, so I will definitely not miss this chance again to play with my fellow colleagues on real field for the first time.

The first match we Sourcing + TA lost 2-1 to Central + CLIP, so we are so determined to revenge.

Ended up the whole match was so exciting, wild and enthusiastic, everyone was running up and down to attack and defend. I believe we all did have fun shouting around too!

Full time 3-3.

We will play again next Tuesday, hopefully a win for us! I want to score!

Godzilla

Godzilla, yet another upcoming American science fiction monster film, is set to release at all Malaysian cinemas on 15 May 2014.

It is the 2nd Godzilla film with the first having been the 1998 film of the same name.

This is another most anticipated movie in 2014, and no doubt everyone will have extra anticipation for it.

Liverpool to Lay Hands on the Premier League Title?

It is the final furlong of a thrilling season but of the three runners left in contention, who is in best shape to take the first prize?

Liverpool, Manchester City or Chelsea?

On Sunday night I was sitting in front of the TV watching how Liverpool relentlessly halted City at every turn, led 2-0 at half time to make the whole Anfield electric and the Liverpool fans to start yearning for the first Premier League title in 24 years. I am not a Liverpool fans, just Standard Chartered maybe, yet overwhelmed with excitement and enthusiasm seeing the Kop in delirium.

Philippe Coutinho slammed home a stunning winner.
Brendan Rodgers proven he is just the right man for the job to reminisce the Reds' glories. Who would have thought that earlier? Just like nobody thought earlier that Manchester United will fall apart under David Moyes after Alex Ferguson left his post. Ridiculous enough, both Liverpool and Manchester United seemed to have switch fate, with Liverpool taking United's last season form and the latter consistently losing hegemony.

Can Brendan Rodgers lead Liverpool to the promised land?

The remaining fixtures of Liverpool :

vs Norwich (A)
vs Chelsea (H)
vs Crystal Palace (A)
vs Newcastle United (H)

(p/s: Liverpool are yet to overcome one of the biggest obstacles in their pursuit of the Premier League title, Mourinho's Chelsea. The advantages are that the Kop are in extremely high morale and the match will be played at Anfield. They have the title fate tightly hold in their own hands, they will be champions if they can win all the four (4) matches left regardless of the results Manchester City and Chelsea obtain in their respective fixtures.)

The remaining fixtures of Manchester City :

vs Sunderland (H)
vs West Bromwich Albion (H)
vs Crystal Palace (A)
vs Everton (A)
vs Aston Villa (H)
vs West Ham (H)

(p/s: Manchester City have two (2) more games in hand. If they can win both, they will be ranked 2nd in the table after 34 matches. One (1) point behind leaders, Liverpool and one (1) point above Chelsea. The edge of City is their own Etihad home. They have played 15 Premier League home games, winning 14 out of them, and only defeated once. The winning percentage is a terrific 93.33333%.  Manchester City will not play either Liverpool or Chelsea in their remaining fixtures, so the best they can do is to win all the six (6) remaining fixtures and wait for mistakes from Liverpool and Chelsea to kindly reclaim the Premier League title.)

The remaining fixtures of Chelsea :

vs Sunderland (H)
vs Liverpool (A)
vs Norwich (H)
vs Cardiff (A)

(p/s: Chelsea will need to play a head-to-head encounter with Liverpool. If they win at Anfield, then the title can be Blues too. Sunderland, Norwich and Cardiff are not formidable opponents for Chelsea, but all the three (3) will fight their hearts and souls battling for survival in Premier League. Chelsea are wary of the spirits these team can show.)

Here is a short video of how sentimental Steven Gerrard was after the 3-2 victory against Manchester City on Sunday. He is a true legend, and deserves everything of his probable first and could be last Premier League title, considering he is already 34 years old.

Now is the best chance for Liverpool to lift the trophy after 2008/09 season where Liverpool finished 2nd at 86 points under Rafael Benitez, 4 points behind Manchester United. No doubt that Liverpool's attacking play really justified their place now at the top of the table, showing abundance of characters and perseverance.

A quarter of a century after Hillsborough, there is a sense of destiny and romance about Liverpool that neither of their rivals possesses. Liverpool not only have the will to win, they are being willed to win all across the country.

The best ending for the season would be seeing Liverpool winning the 1st Premier League title and Arsenal lifting the FA Cup at Wembly Stadium.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated big movies in 2014, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx.

I have not watch The Amazing Spider-Man 1, guess because I still prefer Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker.

Surprisingly, the rating I have read in the Internet for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is not bad at all, normally the critics give no mercy to this kind of heroics movie, but here they go, IMDb - 8.1/10 and Rotten Tomatoes 80%.

This movie will be released at all Malaysian cinemas on Labor Day, 1 May 2014. Definitely will be watching it :D

A day back in KL

After approximately 2 weeks at Kerteh, I am back in KL :D

On the way to Low Yat, passed by this building, realized so much memories I had with it. Time flies, I have left Standard Chartered for almost 10 months already. If not PETRONAS, it will always be my first choice company to work for.

Ok, enough of the sentiment.

Lets have something I cannot find in Kerteh to cheer myself and it has to be Sushi!

At Sushi Zanmai, Plaza Low Yat

Look delicious, are they not? Slurps

I am a happy man again!
