Arsenal in its plight situation..

I think that Arsenal will end this season with no title and trophy, again-for the fifth consecutive season.

I am a fanatical supporter of the Gunners. At least I watched their games and matches every weekend during primary and secondary school days. Not until my university life where majority of my friends are MU fans. I do not understand why they are so supportive toward Alex Ferguson's men, but from what I observe, Manchester United is really a divine, even after losing Christiano Ronaldo. But the Gunners are just not like they were in the past.

The Gunners are trailing by 11 points in the Premier League. Being thrashed by Manchester City 3-0 in the Carling Cup Quarter-Final. Qualified to Knockout Stage in UEFA Champions League thanks to existing group stage opponents which are just "not too strong". They are struggling now without Robin Van Persie which suffers from ankle injury and "too dependent on youngsters". Arsene Wenger is just a little stingy! The Frenchman is Arsenal's most-successful and longest-serving manager of all-time. He has a master's degree in Economics. This could be the main reason making him to act "prudently" in investing in big players. (Ask Azhan to explain why this phenomena exists ^^)" Economists always look at the big picture.." Haiz. Sometimes this big picture ruins everything. Cesc Fabregas and Andrei Arshavin are just not enough for Arsenal!

I have a collection of Arsenal 49- The Complete Unbeaten Record. I love to play it over and over again, watching how GREAT players play football. Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp, these are my favourites. Robert Pires, the masterpiece of attack in the squad, Gilberto Silva, Edu, Ljungberg, Reyes, Lauren, Ashley Cole, Kolo Toure, Campbell and Jens Lehman.. Watching them playing in Highbury with victories. They are fantastic and marvelous. Their style of playing are amazingly shown, passing, passing and passing until they are able to score with excellence. These players disappointed Geert Hofstede!!! (Individualism is strictly prohibited here. We studied Individualism vs Collectivism in MOB right ^^) But they are now being tore apart by different clubs. Henry is lifting his 1st Champions League Trophy with Lionel Messi, Kolo Toure could not resist the power and magic of money offered by AbuDhabi, Ljungberg and Pires transferred to West Ham and Villarreal respectively, Edu and Gilberto Silva just "missing in action"... Too many to be mentioned.

Good things never last. This is absolutely true. Let's wait for another season. And let's see when Arsene Wenger will get the sack XD I love Highbury and Emirates Stadium forever..
