This morning arrived at office around 7.50 am. The office was dark. No lights. But got air-conds. Few people inside. My neighbour manager d there. Some auntie cleaners doing their work. The atmosphere was just too perfect and ideal for another...... sleep =O
The shake started with a vigorous vibration on the chair I was sitting, with table and laptop slightly 'shivering'. I thought is someone slammed and bang the security door again. It's always like this de. When someone walks inside the office, everything will take some shakes. So I jus continued reading.
Soon, people starting walking out from aquarium and talking about it. My neighbour manager asked me did I feel something shaking. I just answered "Yes". She say she thought she pening kepala or what but Owh, yuan lai all people felt it. She quickly look down to window. Wah, people start evacuating! The road was crowded with people in this very early morning.
So we moved out of the building.
The road suddenly become riuh-rendah. Cannot see the traffic police d. People are sceptical, discussing about the quake. Sulawesi, Sumatera, they are arguing among each other. I meet dao many come late de colleagues, chat chat there a while then feel very boring. The employees of Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia also all come out. The happiest people in world now is the Pak Cik selling breakfast because I also got buy kari puff from him. He seems known to everyone. He can easily shout one's name out and start mixing around. This quake gave me the chance to eat breakfast here which I have never thought of doing it even for a morning.
So came the second evacuation. Around 11 am. People started to get nervous and the situation was quite chaotic. They were afraid that the CIMB building will collapse. Serious? But it looks strong and firm. Don't think it will collapse just like that. Come on
But they have their own reason of being worried. Here it was.
On the left would be the CIMB Investment building. The right is the Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia. There was something in between there as shown. Few years ago, collapsed and .... They have phobia. So they are extra sensitive. Some ladies asked the guards until like wan cry d. Some even leave for God's sake. Haha. Work from home. Some looked happy and they were planning where to have lunch. And they started moving already at the same time discussing.
Even moving cars felt it. So they stopped. Level 4 de cafe this afternoon not crowded anymore. Only few cats inside. Haha. The earthquake really scare their asses off huh xD
Can write this as title " An unforgettable moment of my life " in essays during primary and secondary schools if encounter it earlier in life. But still, a very well-timed earthquake indeed =)
